Apparition - a supernatural appearance of a person or thing, esp. a ghost; a specter or phantom; wraith
Electronic Voice Phenomena (EVP) - Voices and sounds caught on recordings that cannot be heard with a persons own ear.
Ghost - the soul of a dead person, a disembodied spirit imagined, usually as a vague, shadowy or evanescent form, as wandering among or haunting living persons
Haunting - Repeat occurances of paranormal activity; includes apparitions, sounds, sights, cold areas, smells, ect.
Intelligent Haunting - The activity of something paranormal that interacts with witnesses to make itself known
Orbs - Round, "light-like" objects that some believe to be paranormal (many times other objects can be mistaken for orbs such as dust or bugs)
Paranormal - Beyond the range of normal experience or scientific explanation
Poltergeist - (from German Polter, "noise" or "racket"; Geist, "spirit"), in occultism, a disembodied spirit or supernatural force credited with certain malicious or disturbing phenomena, such as inexplicable noises, sudden wild movements, or breakage of household items. Poltergeists are also blamed for violent actions-throwing stones or setting fire to clothing and furniture. Such events are said to be sporadic, unpredictable, and often repetitive.
Residual Haunting - The activity of something paranormal that has no sense of time, people or things around them. Does not interact with witnesses. (Like a tape playing over and over again)
